With over 9+ years of experience working on explainers, digital videos, documentaries and motion graphics for news organizations and non-profits. He has experience using top-of-the-art video and audio equipment and software to turn creative ideas into high-quality visual projects.
As a senior visual creator for “El Tiempo Casa Editorial,” one of the largest news organizations in Latin America, he covered some of the most consequential news stories in Colombia and beyond, such as the plight of hundreds of thousands of women who were sexually assaulted during the country’s decades-long armed conflict, the impact of the climate crisis in rural Colombia, and the homelessness crisis in Bogotá and other major cities across the country.
Throughout his career, he also won multiple awards, such as the prestigious “Simón Bolivar” award for Best Video in 2017, the highest national recognition given to professionals in journalism in Colombia.​​​​​​​
